Just noticed the iOS 7 automatic updates feature among automatic downloads tab of AppStore settings. That means if users will leave this switch turned on, your published app updates will be seamlessly installed more or less immediately on devices. This feature is way underestimated. I mean I have not read that much about it among some iOS 7 feature aggregatings, though, this stuff actually a form of communication from now on.
I love the idea that you can change the icon of your published applications, (useful or annoying?). Some vendors are already using this technique, like the color/theme vary of the spraying can on the Subway Surfer icon. Kind of a “rich push notification”. Kind of.
